Groot nieuws wat betreft de franchise The Witcher, het derde deel in de serie komt namelijk naar de PlayStation 4. Ontwikkelaar CD Projekt RED heeft dit bevestigd en de game zal in 2014 ook naar de PS4 komen samen met andere next-gen consoles. Deel twee van de franchise evenals deel één zijn nooit op de PlayStation-consoles uitgebracht, het is dus goed om te zien dat men deze game wel naar PS4 brengt.
CD Project RED beweert enorm vereerd te zijn dat Sony hen gevraagd heeft de game ook naar de PS4 te brengen en de console vroegtijdig aan hun getoond te hebben. The Witcher 3 komt dus officieel naar de PS4.
“We were thrilled when asked, several months ago, to be one of the developers who were granted early access to the PlayStation 4. It was an exciting moment to be invited to be in the company of other legendary developers like Bethesda, EA, LucasArts, Ubisoft or Activision as one of the teams working on titles shipping early in the PlayStation 4′s lifecycle.
“Of course, we couldn’t reveal any specifics about this to our fans, even though many journalists and forum members asked about when and how The Witcher might show up on Sony’s console. After yesterday’s PlayStation Meeting we can finally promise: The Witcher 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4.”

Hoe lang totdat er een Witcher 1 & 2 remake en een trilogy uitkomen? ;P
Lol zekers wel dat dit een knap staaltje graphics wordt. En de Witcher games zijn sowieso vet.
