De witte ‘Glacier White’ PlayStation 4 is tot op heden alleen aangekondigd in een bundel, maar daar zal snel verandering in komen. Sony heeft namelijk plannen om de witte PS4 apart te launchen, zonder Destiny. Dit zal nog gebeuren voordat de kerst de klok slaat, men wil alleen wel Destiny eerst wat ademruimte gunnen.
“We do have plans [to launch the white PS4 separately] and plans before Christmas, but we’re going to give Destiny a good, solid breathing space with exclusive claims on the white and then bring it out as a standalone product”, said Gara.
“We haven’t quite dated that yet, but it’ll be prior to Christmas.”
