Niet alleen zal morgen de PlayStation 4 firmware 2.50 verschijnen, maar ook PS Vita firmware 3.50 zal uitgerold gaan worden. Deze firmware update voor Sony’s handheld verwijdert de ‘Maps’-applicatie en alle features in ‘near’ die ‘Maps’ gebruikte.

De toegankelijkheid opties die we ook op de PS4 krijgen met firmware 2.50 zullen ook naar de PS Vita komen, echt heel duidelijk is Sony hier alleen niet over. Ze melden alleen dat er ‘accessibility options’ worden toegevoegd, hopelijk dus ook button-mapping.

Verder zal Remote-play ondersteuning krijgen voor 60FPS waar mogelijk en zal PSN hernoemd worden naar PlayStation Network.
