Enkele dagen geleden konden we je melden dat de grote video service Hulu naar de PlayStation 3 komt. Het was bij de meeste mensen nogal onduidelijk of de service PlayStation Plus nodig is om het te gebruiken aangezien de service Hulu Plus heet. Een gebruiker van de bekende website Reddit besloot om op onderzoek te gaan en heeft Hulu gecontacteerd.

De mannen van Hulu wisten te melden dat PlayStation Plus niet nodig zal zijn om Hulu Plus te gebruiken. Wel heb je PlayStation Plus nodig als je wat previews wilt bekijken. Hulu Plus zal maandelijkse kosten bedragen waardoor je de nieuwste TV-series kunt bekijken zoals Family Guy, The Simpsons, Crime Scene Investigation enzovoort. De kans dat Hulu Plus naar Nederland komt is er nog steeds, maar zeker kunnen we er niet van zijn.

Specifically to your question, the PlayStation Plus service is only a requirement during the preview period. Once the preview period ends you should be able to download the Hulu Plus app but that will still require the Hulu Plus subscription. Right now we are limiting the number of users but Hulu Plus will be launching to the public very soon so stay tuned!”
