Ontwikkelaar Tomoaki Ayano, die mede verantwoordelijk is voor de game Street Fighter x Tekken, heeft in een interview laten weten dat hij erg teleurgesteld is dat er een aantal spelers in zijn geslaagd om de DLC voor de release al te kunnen spelen.

In het interview met Gamespot zegt Ayano wel dat hij onder de indruk is van de “hacking skills” van deze personen.

“Personally, I was really surprised when I heard the news that the characters had been hacked, basically. So I was pretty disappointed by that. I was really surprised at how skillful the hackers were, basically.

“But I was really kind of disappointed that it created this kind of environment where a bunch of players were playing the characters but a bunch were unable to play with them.”

De DLC bestaat uit 12 karakters die op de planning stond om gratis beschikbaar te worden gesteld voor de PlayStation Vita versie, terwijl degenen met de console versie voor deze DLC rond de 20 euro kwijt zijn om met deze zelfde DLC te kunnen spelen.

Op de PlayStation 3 is Street Fighter x Tekken al verkrijgbaar, en de PlayStation Vita versie zal in de herfst van dit jaar te krijgen zijn.
