De PS Vita is dood, een opmerking die je vaak genoeg leest en eerlijk gezegd; als je kijkt naar de afgelopen E3 ook nog gaat geloven. Het gekke is alleen dat de PS Vita zo’n 51 titels in de planning heeft momenteel, veel is indie en Japans, maar alsnog zijn het 51 games. Al deze games heeft Sony niet getoond tijdens de E3 2015, wat opmerkelijk is.

Sony heeft ook toegegeven zelf geen blockbusters meer te ontwikkelen voor de PS Vita. Hiermee leunt Sony volledig op third-party support wat toch erg zonde is, aangezien het een hele toffe handheld is. Uiteraard is Remote-play een leuke functie, maar daar heb je tijdens die lange vliegreis of treinrit wel erg weinig aan.

Desondanks heeft Sony PlayStation Nieuw-Zeeland wel bovenstaande trailer geüpload die enkele games toont en in totaal is er een lijstje van 51 games die naar de PS Vita komen. Was het nou zoveel moeite geweest om daar een paar van te showen op de E3? Wellicht dat de PS Vita dan niet ‘dood’ genoemd werd.
