Hoewel Hello Games in de eerste maanden na de release weinig aan No Man’s Sky leek te doen, is de ontwikkelaar momenteel erg goed bezig met het verbeteren van de game. Vorige week verscheen de flinke Path Finder update en eerder deze week kwam er nog een update uit. Inmiddels heeft de studio alweer een patch uitgebracht.

Deze nieuwste patch voor No Man’s Sky, met versienummer 1.23, verhelpt vooral bugs, maar voegt bijvoorbeeld ook een optie toe om de framerate op de PlayStation 4 vast te zetten op 30 frames per seconde. Op deze manier blijft de framerate een stuk stabieler dan wanneer de framerate lock niet is ingeschakeld.

Update 1.23 voor No Man’s Sky weegt bijna 2 GB op de PlayStation 4 en is inmiddels te downloaden. Hieronder de bijbehorende changelog.

  • You can no longer build the Exocraft Terminal in freighter bases, this prevented players from being able to complete the vehicle missions
