De Ulukaï is terug van weggeweest, Outcast: Second Contact is namelijk de remake van de welbekende game Outcast. Deze game stamt alweer uit 1999 en het is dus goed mogelijk dat niet meteen bij iedereen een belletje gaat rinkelen. De game is in ieder geval vanaf de grond af aan opnieuw opgebouwd en kent nog weinig gelijkenissen, op het verhaal na, met het origineel.
