Tijdens de E3 persconferentie van PlayStation was er een nieuwe gameplay trailer verschenen van Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Wel, nu zijn er ook nieuwe screenshots van de game verschenen. De prachtige screenshots zijn afkomstig van een PlayStation Pro en in 4K.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy draait om het verhaal van Chloe Frazer, de nieuwe hoofdpersoon. Zij gaat samen met Nadine Ross achter de ‘Tusk of Ganesh’ aan. Naast de screenshots die je hieronder kan bekijken, heeft uitgever Sony Interactive Entertainement ook nog wat meer details omtrent Uncharted: The Lost Legacy bekendgemaakt:

@84.246.1..xxx: (XBox one X) MS heeft ook geen echt 4k maar gebruik net zoiets als het schaakbord techniek uit Horizon Zero Dawn (een ander soort techniek). Volgens mij iets met om en om horizontale lijnen.

Wat een onzin. Forza 7 is wel degelijk native 4k met 60 fps op de Xbox One X. Of andere games dat ook gaan halen betwijfel ik. Ja games als Fifa gaat wel lukken maar dat dat is op de PS4 Pro ook en NBA.

Daar kunnen ze makkelijk 4K en 60fps halen de rest is 4k30fps of lager.
Uiteindelijke gaat het om het fantastische werk van de developers die een game laten shinen.
Doe zoals ik en koop een tv die alles upscaled.. die kost wel veel maar rechtvaardigt voor mij de aankoop omdat mijn oude series, films en consoles enorm veel mooier zijn en er geen verschil is tussen de pro en gewone ps4 op mijn tv. Zagen dat dat dan “maar” checkerboard is maakt mij niks uit, het eindresultaat is wat telt, niet de manier waarop. (hellblade is mocap gemaakt met gommetjes van potloden en smartphones uit geldgebrek en heb je die trailers al gezien??)Nogmaals: niet de manier waarop maar het eindresultaat telt.
@83.83.90.xxx: De makers van Forza7 hebben zelf aangeven dat voor Forza7 een gelijk soort iets als Horizon Zero Dawn schaakbord techniek hebben gebruikt om die 60fps 4k te kunnen halen. Ze spraken zelf over horizontale/ verticale? (1vd beiden) lijnen die ze om en om laten zien. Dus dat betekent dat het spel in werkelijkheid maar op 50% van de horizontale of verticale lijnen draait. Omdat het spel zelf op 60fps draait zal je er niks van merken.

Aangezien forza 6 al native 1080p was is met 4x de kracht 4x aan resolutie te overbruggen. Zouden ze 0.8 tflops overhouden voor extra effecten, (xbox one is 1.3tflops xbox one x 6 tflops. 4x 1.3 is 5.2 tflops 1080p naar 2160p is precies 4x) dus lijkt mij heel stug.
Al zou ik het alleen maar aanmoedigen want native 4k streven is zonde van de kracht. Checkerboarding 4k en dan extra eye candy is the way to go ala je mij vraagt.
Daarim hou ik het ook gewoon bij mijn pro. Zeker ivm mijn 1080p scherm.
