Ubisoft heeft update 1.1.0 en 1.1.1. voor Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey uitgebracht en die maakt de game klaar voor de eerste grote uitbreiding. Die uitbreiding zal aanstaande dinsdag verschijnen, zoals je eerder deze week hier al kon lezen.

Ook richt deze update zich op het oplossen van bugs en andere onvolkomenheden. In de changelog hieronder tref je alle details, maar weet wel dat hier spoilers in kunnen staan. Verder introduceert deze update ook het ‘Mastery Level’ systeem.

Hierover gaf Ubisoft onlangs al wat hints en nu hebben ze duidelijk gemaakt wat dit precies is. De Ability Points die je bij elkaar spaart in de game, kun je spenderen aan drie verschillende skilltrees, dat blijft zo. Maar als je overtollige punten hebt, dan kan je in deze skilltrees verschillende aspecten blijven upgraden. Hierdoor zal je nog betere statistieken krijgen, waardoor de punten een groter nut hebben. In totaal zijn er 72 Mastery Levels en die kunnen allemaal 20 keer geüpgraded worden.

Ubisoft gaf als voorbeeld het upgraden van schade. Dat begint met +1% in schade na het spenderen van een Ability Point. Spendeer je hier 20 punten aan, dan zal de schade uiteindelijk toenemen met +10%. Dit is dan bij diverse skills mogelijk, zodat je personage in z’n geheel op termijn nog veel krachtiger/beter wordt.

De update is nu beschikbaar en is zo’n 2.9GB groot.

  • Addressed an issue in Barnabas Abroad that could prevent the quest from being completed.

  • Addressed an issue in Pirate Hospitality that prevented the quest objective to update.
  • Addressed an issue in Unified Front where Euneas would sail away from the naval battle instead of helping the player.
  • Addressed various issues in the Divine Intervention questline that could prevent the quest from being completed.
  • Addressed an issue in Follow That Boat where Kleio could spawn underwater if the player cleaves the ship during the follow Erina objective.

Character and AI

  • Addressed an issue where wolves or dogs would drown when kicked in the water by the player.

  • Addressed an issue that caused Mercenaries & Fort Leaders to not deal the intended Basic Attack damage.

Photo Mode

  • Addressed an issue in Photo Mode where the reset button in Composition Mode would reset photo settings.
  • Improved auto-focus functionality in Photo Mode. When opening Photo Mode it will now auto-focus the player if in view.
