Er zijn vandaag door Activision maar liefst 22 tracks bevestigd voor Guitar Hero 5. Eerder zijn er al 24 tracks vrijgegeven, dit brengt het totale aantal naar 46 tracks in totaal. Hierdoor is al meer dan de helft van de volledige tracklist bekend gemaakt, de tracklist zou namelijk 85 tracks bevatten.

Waarschijnlijk zullen er net zoals bij Guitar Hero: World Tour iedere week een paar liedjes worden toegevoegd, hier staat tegenover dat je een kleine vergoeding moet betalen. Onder dit nieuwsbericht staat een lijst met alle tracks die zijn bekendgemaakt tot nu toe.
