Topic: Battlefield 4. Ps3 tegen ps4
Natuurlijk weten we allemaal dat de ps 4 (en pc) versie van Battlefield 4 veel groter en daardoor ook beter is, maar wat zijn de exacte restricties? Zijn dit alle, of zit er nog een addertje onder het gras?
– Natuurlijk is de ps3 versie grafisch veel minder
– Je kunt niet met 64 players gamen (tot 24 man)
– De mappen zijn ook kleiner
– Daardoor heb je ook minder voertuigen
Geen addertjes voor PS4, als je dit bedoelt. PS3 is max 24 spelers met BF4 hoor?

They’re saying that it’s almost impossible to see a difference between PS4 and PC version. They compared it to BF4 running on a high-end PC with a “pretty expensive Radeon card”. They’re also expecting that if you’re an owner of a PC that costs less than 1000€ then it will look worse than on PS4 if you want to target 60fps. 60fps is almost perfectly available in PS4 version. Given the low price of the PS4, they say that this definitely speaks for the console and against the PC version. In this video the PS4 version looks brighter due to the recording that they’re using. There are some effects like water drops on the windscreen that are missing in the PC version even though they are available for PS4. Shadows, level of detail, etc are indistinguishable. The conclusion: They’re recommending the PS4 version because of the 400€ price point for the hardware.
Ja dat dacht ik ookal, maar op die site (zie edit) staat 32 man. Ik vond het ookal vreemd
Ik ben ook lang in dubio geweest tussen pc of ps4, maar ik ga uiteindelijk wel voor ps4. Niet direct bij de launch maar waarschijnlijk later dit jaar wel.

De laatste paar nummertjes van de link paste er niet meer bij. De zin was te lang 😛
Ze hebben het in deze zin over bf3, maar die was 24 man. Ik ben de draad nu kwijt.
Die post komt uit Juni lauwie, volgens mij is het echt 24 spelers, weet het eigenlijk zeker, anders was het wel breed gepubliceerd, ook geen gameplay daarvan, misschien dachten ze dus eerst in Juni dat het 32 kon worden maar het is gewoon hetzelfde gebleven.
Bedankt allemaal, weet ik in ieder geval al heel wat meer. Weet iemand toevallig ook of deze hardware Bf4 goed zou kunnen draaien:
